A SMART MOVE started out as a moving box rental company. We noticed that people were using crummy boxes to move their valuables. People were trusting their prized possessions in boxes that could literally give way at any second. So, Lindsay Curtis saw a problem and she came up with an innovative solution to fix the problem. She implemented the moving box that can hold up to 50 lbs! So, instead of using gross old boxes, or spending an arm and a leg buying new boxes, try renting our boxes instead.

Although we love the rentable moving box industry, we still saw that there was a need. Our customers needed help with all aspects of their move. They didn’t just need help with the supplies, but wanted help with the packing and the heavy lifting. That is when we transitioned our wonderful company into a full-service moving company offering comprehensive services.

A SMART MOVE is a company located in San Diego serving the entire Mission Beach area. We understand that you don’t want to spend money on movers, it seems a lot more tempting to spend money on …well….anything else. However, we can tell you that if you choose to recruit your friends and family you will regret your decision. 

Friends and family don’t have the same skills that we have and aren’t trained in the extensive way that our team is.
